    Hi !

I created a RAM disk, named cache-jellyfin. It's mounted correctly and visible, selectable in Jellyfin's options (dashboard/path of cache) with the same name, cache-jellyfin.

I thought this might speed up cache access, since the RAM is very fast, faster than the default SSD, but firstly, no, in reality there's always a delay between clicking and displaying (especially images, whereas with a 10Gb local network it should be almost instantaneous?). Secondly, the cache just keeps filling up with the same items. It's at 92.1MB, I click on a movie page, it jumps to 92.3MB (for example). If I go back to the previous page and return to the exact same movie page, the disk jumps to 92.5MB, and this continues indefinitely, with the same page.

So, does that mean that if the server stays on long enough with enough clicks, the cache size could potentially become enormous? I don't mind when it's in RAM; if I restart the server, the cache will be empty. But what about on a disk? Or is this an issue that only occurs with a RAM disk?
