    Hi all -

I've been sitting on this issue for a while as I understand a lot of these types of issues are underpinned by the old library - I was doing some extra reading on the issue of the query stumbling over a maximum limit of TV show episodes before breaking off and only displaying the one show. It's one of the main issues I have with the current front page, and with the aim of doing some work on this and another couple of things myself I was looking to clarify what the current situation is.

Pull #12492 - I can see it's been merged back into master but I can't see it confirmed for inclusion for 10.10.7 and as it stands it certainly looks as though the install is still present on 10.10.7 stable - has this only been applied to unstable so far?

I'd also like to kindly ask for a practical description of the issues around enabling capability for dynamic home page queries - I've seen the question asked a fair few times but it hasn't been answered in a way that explains the crux of the issue, just that this type of query "isn't supported" or that it relies on refactoring or that it's not planned or whatever - if there is a detailed breakdown on the blockers already anywhere I've missed I apologise. I have a rough idea for generating these based on user context but I'm not sure if I'm overlooking anything glaring that would trip me up early. Has anyone else had a go at this who could share their experience or anyone close to the issue that could put the problem into practical terms? My aim here isn't to join in the bleating or annoy anyone, I'm looking to solve this problem myself but there isn't a lot of technical information on the problem in need of solving.

    Many thanks in advance!
