Red Progression Bar Meaning

What does the red progression bar indicate?
I know blue bar means player progression, but I don't know what red indicates.

So what does it mean when the transcode progress is way ahead of the progress bar?

A. The user paused the show, and Jellyfin is buffering ahead.

B. The show is buffering for the user and the user cannot resume watching until the transcoding is complete.

I figured it out for myself.

If the transcode bar (red bar) is ahead of the progress bar (blue bar), then there is no buffering occurring.
