I've been having a lot of problems with jellyfin lately, so I decided to reinstall it.
I uninstalled, then reinstalled, running the exe file as administrator. Saw that somewhere.
Now when I go the localhost:8096, I can choose a server. First there was one choice. When I clicked it, I get
We're unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it is running and try again.
Obviously it's running, I'm seeing the page
I try adding a server, now I get a sign in page. Shouldn't be there, this is a new install. But I try with my old username and password, I get a invalid username or password, try again. So I try the forgot password option, and get this message
Please try again within your home network to initiate the password reset process.
It is within my home network

How do I get this up and running again?

    Windows 11
Chromecast (when I get that far)

Force refresh browser cache Ctrl+F5, or try in a private browser window

Thanks, that worked. Thought I'd done that already, apparently not.
