How do we remove movies from Jellyfin? I have one in particular that is being stubborn. It's the original Shaft but no matter what metadata links or manual changes I make, it constantly reverts back to the Samuel Jackson version. I even have the folder and file with the date and the imdb link. I deleted the folder and the film is still showing in my list with the old title (Shaft 2000) from before I added the date and imdb link a week or so ago. I've scanned the library dozens of times but it won't go away. If I try to play it, I of course get a fatal error. Media info shows it in the folder from over a week ago even after being moved and then deleted.
UPDATE: Now it seems that Jellyfin just isn't responding to the library changes at all. I added several movies just like I added hundreds before them and they just will not show up in the interface. I've scanned several times. I've changed the file and folder names. Everything that was there before a week or so ago is still there, it's just that Jellyfin won't recognize any changes.
Is this a known bug with a scheduled fix? This is pretty major.
Actually I just noticed that movies won't even play back on Jellyfin any more. Ugh, I don't want to go to Plex but if this one doesn't work, I guess that's that. I can stream directly from my NAS remotely no problem.
UPDATE 2: And now Jellyfin is taking the movies out of my collections without any input whatsoever. WTAF???
