    Hey all,

    Ex Plex user here.
    I've been playing 4K movies on my chrome browser using plex and it works really well. It essentially remux's the video and audio steams into a mp4 container.
    Jellyfin is transcoding the same movies, is there an option ive missed?

    It does look like an issue https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-web/issues/2588

    I've never been able to get Chrome to play HEVC with Jellyfin. A lot people have been able to get HEVC to play in Edge. Try using the desktop app. Jellyfin Media Player.
