I had an old thread about this but since this is a new version I thought I would make a new thread (https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-issue-with-...w-jellyfin).
So yes, on 10.11.0 I had this issue where media was no longer playing "direct" but instead Remuxing, even when all the video/audio components are streamed directly.
I thought, because of what is stated in this thread https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-webos/issues/310 that the issue would be fixed on the newest update. Unfortunately, I am still having the same issue: my media is being "Remuxed", resulting in lagging (and wasting space on my hard drive!).
So yes, what can I do about this?
EDIT:
I think I may have come to some solution to this...
So I was attempting to play .mkv files, and from looking around it seems the issue might be with that? Something with WebOS not handling DV from .mkv files? After using nmkoder (https://github.com/n00mkrad/nmkoder/rele...ag/v1.10.0) to change the container to mp4 it seems to play OK... is this the issue?
Some people are saying WebOS 25 fixes this problem... my WebOS version is WebOS6 so I guess mine is too old for this.
