Most of the stuff in my Kids Shows library identifies fine so no complaints there. But I have a few folders of collected videos from here and there. When Jellyfin fails to identify these (because there's nothing to identify with), it generates its own thumbnails from the video content and just leaves them as generic which is the perfect action.
The issue I have is when Jellyfin misidentifies the content as another show. For example, I have a folder called Tsunamis which has various downloaded videos about, well, Tsunamis but it misidentifies it as some show and adds thumbnails. What I would like to do is tell Jellyfin to do what it does for the other stuff it *can't* identify and generate thumbnails for itself. Unfortunately, I can't work out how to do so. The closest thing I can find is the "Identify" feature which is to tell it that it got it wrong and to use the metadata from another show. Unfortunately, there isn't a "you can't identify this" option. I can edit the metadata and delete the images which gets me to a marginally better place (one of the folders is misidentified as 'The murder of Laci Peterson' when it is singing farmers) but I would still like it to generate those thumbnails. Am I missing something?
Edit: I just noticed that it does the thumbnails for "Movies and shows" and "Movies" content types but not "Shows" but I'm not sure yet about the misidentification thing in the first two.
