restarts list/album

I am running Jellyfin 10.9.11.0 on a Raspberry pi4 running bookworm and all packages are up to date. 
Pixel 8 Jellyfin Andrioid 2.6.2

When I am listening to my music on my pixel 8 in the car when I reach my destination the app stops playing when I get out of the car, as it should. When I get back into the car Jellyfin will start playing the album or playlist from the beginning, not where it left off. I do not stop the app while out of the car nor do I restart the app, it just starts playing again, but from the beginning of the album or playlist. If I stopped the app and then restarted it I would expect it to start from the beginning of the album or playlist. 


In the past I used a different media player and it would start playing my music from where it left off. 

I hope i have explained the problem correctly and I look forward to any and all help.

The behavior you're describing is probably some timeout behavior. It also happens in a browser when I pause my playlist. And since the official Android app is based on Jellyfin-web, this is likely inherited from jellyfin-web.
