    Hi,

I have been noticing that when I leave a movie or program somewhere midway, when I return to Jellyfin, I see it is listed in ready to continue, but almost always 10 to 20 minutes or more further ahead then when I stopped it so if I wasn't paying attention I would miss that part.

I use a NAS, Jellyfin, and Roku stick plugged into the TV.

    What would cause this?

    Thanks!

So you are using the Roku the primary client, correct? When you stop watching are you simply turning off the TV? Or pausing Jellyfin then turning off the TV?

I ask because if your TV doesn't have HDMI CEC enabled, it won't signal the Roku to stop when you turn off the TV without pausing playback.

I hit the Roku remote Home button to stop playback and when it goes back to the Roku screen, I then turn off the TV. Should I have to hit Stop while in the Jellyfin app before I return to Roku?

    Thanks for replying!

If you go to the home screen, that should stop playback.

Can you share your jellyfin logs via privatebin.net?
