watched status wrong

after watching one episode the entire season getting flagged as watched. of course this is wrong and only the one episode should be marked as watched. any ideas? or how can I get more infos (can't find any information about status in the log)?
btw: I also have installed trakt.tv plugin but there only the right episode is getting marked as watching, so this is probably not the problem

I've had issues with the watched status when using that plugin, such as https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/12195. 

I was able to solve it very easily by uninstalling the plugin.
