Occasionally when I login to my jellyfin server (running in a Synology container) as root I do not get an immediate login.  Instead I get another login screen - and when I login again as root I get a successful login.   This ignored first root login doesn't happen all the time.

But one thing I noticed when the first login fails is that when I eventually get to the root login screen and then go to the Dashboard, not all of the Dashboard screens work properly.  For instance when I go to Plugins, I get a blank screen with a spinning arrow and eventually a message that "an error occurred while loading plugins ".  Other Dashboard items get blank screens with spinning arrows or error messages.

I'm trying to figure out why my first root login is sometimes being ignored.  I think if I can fix this issue that the problems with the Dashboard will be fixed also.

Any thoughts on what the root login problem is ?
