Hi I am new to Jellyfin. Just wanted to add in case it's useful that the android VLC app has a sleep feature. Using the official Jellyfin Android app, you can select to use an external video player in client settings, open in VLC and activate sleep. VLC documentation: https://wiki.videolan.org/Documentation:..._interface
It's more of a semi work around than a solution because actually getting the file to open in VLC seems to be pretty hit and miss, sometimes causing my device to seize up. From the one time I got it to work, Jellyfin appears not to know about any play back progress. Which is fair enough, I don't know how it would.
Internally to VLC there is an issue against this behavior: VLC Forgets Playback Position Using Sleep Timer #2941 - (https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc-a...ssues/2941
Just a proof of concept. various android video players have "sleep" modes. Perhaps one is better to integrate than VLC til such time that the feature is properly integrated.
Thanks to everyone who is contributing to the project I appreciate all the kindnesses.
