Until a short while ago, things like the IMDB ID for a video game (e.g., "Star Wars - Outlaws (2024) [imdbid-tt28054906]") were still parsed correctly, if there was no counterpart on TMDB.
It seems that now this is no longer the case and even a manual search via the Identify feature comes up empty.
TMDB doesn't carry entries for things like "game movies", meaning recorded playthroughs to conserve the story, like in the above case.

Any idea if that ability can be restored?

Edit: Another case where it happens would be "Warhammer 40,000 - Space Marine II (2024) [imdbid-tt30334760]".

Jellyfin does not, nor has ever, actually queried IMDB. It has always relied on there being an equivalent in TMDB.

Good to know, but useless information in this context.
Doesn't change that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't in cases where it's technically referencing an IMDB entry for a game.

Edit: Strangely, it seems to work for "Legacy Of Kain; Soul Reaver (1999) [Imdbid-Tt0215926]" and "Legacy Of Kain; Soul Reaver 2 (2001) [Imdbid-Tt0247477]".

Not useless.  The point is that the existence of an IMDB entry means nothing since Jellyfin will never pull from it.  A TMDB or OMDB entry must also exist.

Both of those Legacy of Kain IDs have OMDB entries.
