I am very happy to {activity we don't talk about - TDP} to watch them later offline. I dump them in a folder and jellyfin does all the magic. Once it listed separately the video (with thumbnail) and the thumbnail (as photo). So why not delete that picture from the listing? I‌ removed it from the disk and interface. And now the video has an ugly pink background and the words that make up the title.

How do I tell jellyfin to regenerate the thumbnails?

Rescan and try "Find missing metadata" You may need to all check "replace all images".
