Movie and TV Series titles are displayed after searching with a keyword. Unfortunately this is not possible for episode titles of TV Series. Is that on purpose or is there some workaround?

If a show/episode is correctly identified, it should be searchable by episode name.

    10.10.5 (I know, newest is 10.10.6) - but I use the Jellyfin Media Player - newest 1.12

However, still not working for me on both devices.

I'll test things out when I get home, but JMP just uses the server's jellyfin web. So it shouldn't behave differently than in a browser.

Can you try clearing the JMP cache?

I deleted the directories "jellyfinmediaplayer" and "Jellyfin Media Player" under C:\Users\yourUser\appdata\local. No effect

    Should this folder:

    C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server\cache

    also be deleted?

    Negatory.

Can you show screenshots of what you are seeing? Search for an episode you know you have. Then navigate to that show and "edit metadata". Does the episode "title" field contain anything?

Try scanning your library with the "Search for missing metadata" option and see if it's searchable afterward.

"Search for missing metadata" didn't do it.

No screenshot but anyway it wouldn't help. It's simply that putting a word in the Search bar he finds nothing: "Sorry! No results found for "keyword".

Btw.: The "Title" field with the episode title in the metadata box is correctly filled everywhere (I'm doing it via Tiny Media manager and nfos, so all my agents are disabled).

Interesting. I will have to setup a test library with NFOs and no external providers.

I'll work on that and get back to you.
