Hi, I recently set up Jellyfin on my Google TV and it was working fine for a few weeks but now I've encountered this issue. I'm not sure why as nothing has changed setup-wise, and I'm struggling to find a way to fix it. I've tried:
- switching the audio mode to 'downsample to stereo', testing and then switching back again. - restarted the Google TV - restarted the docker container on my server - updated the docker container on my server I can see from this thread that a fix was pushed out months ago, but my installation is much newer than that so I'm unsure how/why I'm still getting the issue. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks Charlie

There is an issue with the night mode setting and the AndroidTV 14 update. Disabling night mode worked for several of my devices.

They play normally on the web browser after selecting the audio I want, which are either PCM or DTS-HD depending on the file. I tried watching the same videos through the Android TV app and no audio plays through the soundbar. After some messing around, I found that I have to switch audio input on the soundbar to something else, such as analog, and then back to the TV - the video pauses for a sec and then plays normally with sound. Since the post above mentioned they were still having issues with DTS I wanted to comment here and see if there are any suggestions. Thanks! |
