    Hello everyone!

I have a Jellyfin server with content in Spanish from Spain.

I often encounter situations where TMDB metadata lacks posters in my language. This happens frequently (and it's quite frustrating) with series that have the same title in English. For example: *Death Note*, *Johnny Test*, *Monster High*, *BlueLock*, *SPYxFAMILY*, among many others.

In these cases, Jellyfin automatically uses the first "No language" image from TMDB as the cover photo, which can be quite annoying, as sometimes the poster is poorly designed or makes it difficult to identify the series.

For this reason, I'd like to propose adding an option for a secondary language (that could be enabled optionally). In my case, I would set English as a backup. This way, if there are no posters in the primary chosen language, Jellyfin could fall back on the poster in the secondary language selected by the user.

While this isn’t a major issue for me, since Spanish is quite widespread, I imagine this feature could be especially helpful for users with less commonly spoken languages.

Hopefully, my suggestion will be considered. It would be a great improvement to have this feature available.

    Thanks, and best regards.

IIRC, the problem is actually with TMDB's API and how they handle when metadata isn't available in your language.

Try switching to TVDB and see if it behaves better?
