Hello community,
I really need help. I would like to move away from Plex, but I can't manage the minimum on JellyFin.
I have 4 folders:
1. Movies
2. Series
3. YouTube
4. Twitch
I would prefer to have a separate view for each of these categories. Movies and series work very well. Great. That's familiar, so far so good.
Problem
1. But how do I integrate the other stuff?
I use (Redacted by Mod) for YouTube. These are all downloaded and stored in folders. Like this:
I use (Redacted by Mod) for YouTube. These are all downloaded and stored in folders. Just like in the pictures.
And for Twitch, I currently (Redacted by Mod) (I used to have that). And I load everything into one folder. I could also create separate folders for the channels. This is what it looks like:
2. And how do I display these well on my TV via Apple TV 4k?
I've tried several things, but I can't get anything to work properly. Sometimes even the YouTube videos were mixed in with my series. Then it seems that the JellyFin app called “Swiftfin” can't be told to sort by “Newest.” With one setting, you couldn't change anything on the display.
Do I have to install a theme or something?
I would love to watch my media on TV. Because I've managed to avoid ads, get full quality, no influence from algorithms, no subsequent changes, offline availability, faster response times, consistent operation, and only one app.
Is that even possible with JellyFin?
