Hi all, new to Jellyfin, trying to come over from Plex. I've been doing some experimenting and reading about library organization. My TV show library right now is in a state where one folder holds the majority of my shows without any subfolders to speak of. From what I understand Jellyfin doesn't really like this, is this correct? I see a bunch of the episodes show up in Jellyfin but no metadata exists for them. Is there any way to work around this without re-organizing everything?

Short answer: You will need to re-organize. I'm not aware of anyone that has successfully made a flat directory structure work.

    Really appreciate the answer.

If I need to fix it for Jellyfin that's fine, and I want to get away from Plex, but Plex has done it. It works really well. Sadly that's how my mess is organized haha.
