    Hello,

I am new to all of this and i was wondering if having a server, for example: my old laptop that runs ubuntu server and has jellyfin installed on it.
Connect two different drives from different computers, for example: my PC that runs windows 10 and my dad's PC that runs windows 11. Into one network.

It's possible. I did it with a desktop running Jellyfin on Windows 10 and then accessing the drives on my gaming PC also running Windows 10 that had larger drives connected to it. My Jellyfin server runs entirely on my local network so I just used standard Windows network sharing settings to share folders on my drives. I ran into some performance issues with this setup on high bitrate content. Might have something to do with the data essentially being streamed twice on the same network (desktop to server, then server to client).
