I am running Ubuntu 22.04.3 with a Caddy reverse proxy pointing to my domain.
Using web browsers, I am able to connect to my domain from any device both locally and remotely. However, when I tried to connect to my domain via the Jellyfin app on Tizen w/ my Samsung TV, I always get an error that I'm unable to the selected server. I tried every variation such as using http or https and in addition I tried using the internal IP of my server on port 8096. I also opened up port 8096 on my server with "sudo ufw allow 8096". Furthermore, this caused me to try the Android app on my phone with the exact same issues.
I am a bit confused as to why I am able to access Jellyfin just fine on all web browsers remotely and locally but not when using downloaded applications. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I no longer have any ideas on how to fix this issue.
