intro-skipper: no skipping/segment not added to metadata

Hello, I am having some issues in making the intro-skipper plugin work.

I have installed the plugin and successfully run "Detect and Analyze Media Segments", yet no segments are being added to the metadata of any of the analysed shows, and no intro-skipping is prompted.
I have re-run the scan multiple times, trying the "Regenerate All Media Segments on Next Run" with no luck, as well as re-trying after "erasing all introduction timestamp" as well as re-building the DB (for good measure I have restarted the JF server after each try before verifying if the changes stuck).
In all cases according to the logs "Regenerated media segments." completed successfully, yet nothing appears int he media's metadata.

Testing with both the web-ui and android client (after having set the "Media Segment Actions" accordingly):

• No segments are displayed on the seek bar
  
• No button appears to prompt skip
  
• When setting the auto skip intro option, to exclude issues with the button itself, nothing happens.
