I have a fairly new installation of Jellyfin on a synology NAS and almost everything is working great. The only thing not working is iphone, using swiftfin, off the local network. If I'm on my local network, it browses and plays fine but when I'm on LTE or on a different network I can browse through the library but when I click to play it sits on "Retrieving media information" and doesn't ever continue. Android phones work fine off network using the native jellyfin app and the iphone is obviously talking to the server because I can browse the library. I know this isn't a swiftfin forum but I'm hoping someone might have some ideas. I can look at the swiftfin logs and I see entries when I browse but when I try to play, the log entry says The network connection was lost. Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code--1005. The URL listed is correct. The Jellyfin logs don't show any attempts from the iphone to play anything. My firewall doesn't appear to be logging any blocks from the iphone. Any ideas?
