SOLVED: Anime series season episode list contains bad entries following moving/renaming eps

I've refreshed metadata several times but it still shows episodes that aren't there under the season.

Possible bug, I'm not sure how to fix it..

    Steps to cause the issue:

    1. I had an anime series with a couple season folders already populated.
    2. I tried to merge in other episodes that used the anime numbering convention (e.g. x247 instead of s6e17 etc...) by dropping them in the season 1 folder, and then using a third party media manager application to rename the episodes and move them to their respective season folders.
    3. I deleted all of the extra media files and .nfo/.srt files from the season 1 directory and the show directory
    4. I re-identified the series and refreshed metadata in jellyfin, telling it to replace all metadata, restarted jellyfin, refreshed metadata again, and let it percolate overnight.
    5. The episodes appear correctly in their new season folders, under those seasons in jellyfin, however, season 1 still shows 200+ extra episodes as ShowName_x247.mkv etc.
    6. The orphan episodes under the season still show the extracted frames as images, and still play, showing "Season 1 episode 247" etc in the player title.
    7. The path to the file is correct e.g. it points to the files in the new season 2,3,4,5,6 folders, etc...

Why are these episodes still showing up under season 1 in jellyfin? How can I get them to go away?

Can you show us the contents of the season 1 folder?

Looks like refreshing metadata a third time just now fixed it.
