    Hi@all,

I've installed the Jellyfin stock app on both my friend's smartphone and iPad. We have no issues on the smartphone, but on the iPad, the app constantly hangs.

Yes, the iPad is not the latest model, but other apps like YouTube and Spotify run without any problems. Is there a potential solution for this?
Yes, I know about Finamp and I'm testing the beta myself, but I don't want to install beta versions on all the devices of my Jellyfin users. 😉

How old of an iPad are we talking about? Also check out the recently updated Swiftfin app.

The iPad is from 2012. What exactly is the "Swiftfin app"?

Swiftfin is a "native" Jellyfin app for iOS, but it is not as feature complete. But there has been a lot of development lately.

Also, that is quite the old iPad. Our current minimum is iOS 12 and AFAICT that iPad's last update was iOS 9.3.

For the iPad, using its web browser may work and probably be the best way of using Jellyfin. Just make a bookmark so Jellyfin can be opened instantly.
