So i just ripped The Martian, both in 1080p and 2160p (4k). I've done this with several of my movies and Jellyfin had thus far known they were the same movie, just in different resolutions, and listed them as one movie, with the Video drop down option to select which one.

The Martian, however is not doing this. And its treating each one as its own movie, and so i currently have it listed Twice in my listing and neither of them are using the backdrop/poster i selected for them (and have in the same directory, which both movies are in btw).

I have tried to "Group Version", which does add the video selection option, but it does NOT remove the duplicate entry (in fact, it adds the Video drop down option to both of them).

I have moved the entire directory from the library, had Jellyfin refresh the library, confirmed neither was no longer listed, moved it back into the proper directory, did another library refresh, and both re-appeared separately.

How can i resolve this to get JF to see both copies as the same movie?

    [Edit]

After reinstalling (and resetting) Jellyfin on the server, this issue still existed. What I learned is that the folder having  "Extended Edition" in its name is what screwed up Jellyfin and cause it to split each version into its own movie listing. Removing that bit so it just reads "The Martian (2015)" corrected the issue.
