SOLVED: HDMI passthrough, rear speakers do not work on 5.1

Hello,

My setup:
- Windows 11 
- Nvidia screen card
- HDMI with passthrough to LG TV
- Sonos sound bar
- Sonos Sub (bass driver)
- Sons rear speakers x 2

The problem:
- Dolby Atmos works great on all speakers
- Any other audio format only plays on the sound bar and Sub, does not use the rear speakers

The question:
How do I get other formats such as 5.1 to work on all speakers including rear speakers?

Which Jellyfin client are you using?

Hi there.

Im using the latest client.
It seems that it is a windows issue not a jellyfin issue because I also tested it on VLC and the same thing happens.
As I understand:
- Windows sends the encoded sound (passthrough) via HDMI to the TV.
- The TV sends it Via ARC to the sound bar

It looks like windows sends everything as Atmos (even 5.1). <--Not sure

I have installed the latest Atmos drivers and it seems to work now.
