I recently had to reinstall my TrueNAS Scale server to add a cache partition on the boot drive. Installed jellyfin via the TrueNAS scale catalog and gave it permissions to access my Media Dataset, inside I have a folder for shows. I configured jellyfin to use that folder for the shows library, but it isn't detecting anything when it scans. I have tried re-creating the libary, giving it permissions again, renaming files. I have attached screenshots showing the config. If you need anything from me please let me know.

    Code:
    [2025-01-27 19:39:00.838 -08:00] [INF] [16] Emby.Server.Implementations.Library.LibraryManager: Validating media library
[2025-01-27 19:39:00.840 -08:00] [WRN] [16] MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.BaseItem: Library folder "/mnt/General/Files/Media/TV Shows" is inaccessible or empty, skipping
    [2025-01-27 19:39:00.840 -08:00] [WRN] [16] MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.BaseItem: Library folder "/config/data/playlists" is inaccessible or empty, skipping
[2025-01-27 19:39:00.845 -08:00] [WRN] [16] MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.BaseItem: Library folder "/mnt/General/Files/Media/TV Shows" is inaccessible or empty, skipping
    [2025-01-27 19:39:00.845 -08:00] [WRN] [16] MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.BaseItem: Library folder "/config/data/playlists" is inaccessible or empty, skipping

This repeats when Jellyfin scans your library. Looks like Jellyfin may not have the correct permissions. Are you both running the server on your NAS as well as the Jellyfin server?

The server is running as a docker container on truenas scale. It is how they do their app system. I gave it the same permissions before I reset my server (it was working fine before I did so).

After some tweaking I was able to fix it, not sure exactly how but I did reset the ACL to a preset before adding the SMB customizations.
