SOLVED: Jellyfin can access Mounted NFS but FFMPEG says no such file

Hi guys;

I have JF installed in a windows VM. The service runs as a user account, 
I can login as that user account, and I have a mounted smb share, with full permissions and everything correct (im fairly sure at least...)

JF has no issues indexing the media and can see and modify it (eg delete files) no issues. 

But attempting to playback any content, does not work. 
JF says that there is a problem with the file, and checking the logs shows FFMPEG saying the file does not exist.

I have googled around but the info I am finding does not seem relevant.

Anybody have any ideas ?

Did you install Jellyfin as a basic install or service install?

I installed it as a service, 
the service runs as the same user; 
if I stop the service, then run jellyfin.exe manually it does not work either, I am unable to access the web UI this way.

Are you able to tell if the ffmpeg process is being run as the user you set the service to run as?

Monitor task manager and trigger a transcode.

yes it appears to be running as the correct user

I resolved this by mounting the shares in jellyfin as \\192.168.1.X\Media\Movies etc. vs using the windows mounted drive letter of M:\Movies

I have the same issue i think. It started suddenly today. Only thing i changed recently here was that i changed how jellyfin and other apps startet up with windows. But i changed that back to see if that fixed the issue.

I could have updated some vcredits files or something else working as shared files, as i have installed jellyseerr earlier today.

Sometimes jellyfin doesnt even start, i get this error:

The files are there!

FFMPEG.exe is running with same user as expected.
I tried updating my ffmpeg set from https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-ffmpeg
But i cant seem to jellyfin to start at all now, so i cant test the change.

Im very close to beat my head against the wall here.

Edit: I found out the issue with jellyfin server not starting: It was due to lack of admin rights on the startup app. Fixed now and starting again.
However, still same issue with playing all video files.

Do you have the playback reporting plugin installed?

Yes.
It looks like activity even yesterday, but the playcount is probably just movies that does'nt actually play.
Or was is something else you had in mind?
