I'm having an issue with jellyfin not using direct play on Android and AndroidTV clients, thus loading the CPU and resulting in choppy playback (I don't have a dedicated GPU for transcoding). I checked playback info and got "Play method: transcoding" and "The video codec is not supported", "The audio codec is not supported". The file is 4K HEVC 10bit.
I also installed the client on a Windows machine and that works fine and reports direct playing.
OS: Unraid
Server version: 10.8.13 (docker)
Client versions are the latest from the Play store. The phone is a Pixel 7 pro with Android 14, the TV device is a Xiaomi Mi Box with Android 12.
