I am new to media servers and was convinced to try Jellyfin. I run a MacBook Pro with macOS 10.14.6 and plan to host my media on a NAS.

I downloaded the latest Jellyfin Media Player (1.9.1) for Mac.

After installation, the application did not open and a dialogue box appeared, saying:

You can't use this version of the application "Jellyfin Media Player" with this version of macOS.

You have macOS 10.14.6. The application requires macOS 10.9 or later.

But macOS 10.14 is later than macOS 10.9!

I tried Jellyfin version 1.9.0 and the same thing occurred. Can anyone assist?
