I have a dilemma with Jellyfin.
I have created a folder with a 13-episode series inside renamed this way “Lycoris Recoil s01e01.mp4 > Lycoris Recoil s01e13.mp4”.
Plus in the same folder there are 3 specials numbered “Lycoris Recoil s00e05.mp4 > Lycoris Recoil s00e07.mp4” (they follow the order found on thetvdb.com) :

From the web GUI the specials (numbered s00) I see them correctly separated from the main episodes, while the regular episodes I see them “mixed” with the specials and instead of counting 13 episodes it counts me 16 episodes.

How can I do to separate them ?

The idea is to follow the setup I had with Plex (which I am gradually abandoning) without having to change the renaming of files and the various folders (which would be a huge job).
Here is an example of how I see it on Plex :

    Uncheck the following:

Dashboard > Libraries > Display > "Display specials within seasons they aired in"

EDIT: RIP was too slow to post.

Not sure if this will work with your folder structure but make sure this option is disabled. Hopefully this will be enough.

Go to the admin dashboard → Click "Libraries" in the left menu → Select the "Display" tab → Find and uncheck "Display specials within seasons they aired in" → Click "Save"

Refresh your library if needed (in "Libraries," pick the library, then "Scan Library" or "Refresh Metadata").
