    Hi there,

I'm newbee. I have installed Jellyfin on QNAP via a QPKG. I'm using this setup for a while now whitout any problem.
I have now installed a NVidia Quadro P2200 (GP106GL). I have installed the latest NVidia GPU Drivers from the App Center. I have also set the card to work in QTS Mode in QNAP's QTS

My testings show that the GPU is not transcoding but the CPU does.

Where can I tell my QNAP/Jellyfin to use the Quadro?

QNAP is TS-873A with latest QTS. Jellyfin is 10.10.3.0.

    Thanks for any cue!

    Regards, Eric

Did you configure Jellyfin to use the GPU?

Hi there, NVidia NVENC is selected.

Don't see any other option for specifics.

Did you check the box "Enable hardware encoding"?

Use this NVENC matrix to check the correct boxes for codec support. The list of codecs at the top is for DECODING. There are two additional boxes for encoding. "Allow encoding in HEVC format" and "AV1 format".

You checked AV1 encoding, which your GPU can't do. And you haven't checked nearly any of the codecs your GPU supports decoding. Without those boxes checked, the CPU will decode everything. Which probably explains your high CPU usage.

    You can enable tone mapping.

Is your GPU actually showing activity now?

"You can enable tone mapping." Done.

No activity on the GPU. 95% CPU.

Can you share your log? Is the video transcoding? Or just audio?
