I have been using version 10.8.9 for some time now and have noticed that some users often seem to continually log in and log out every 5 minutes even though there is no media/device playback.
    Screenshots attached.
    Is it a bug?
    How do I solve it?
    Thank you

I am assuming that is some sort of Android TV? It is possible that it is checking in for the personalized suggestions/continue watching on the home screen.

Yes, some users use Jellyfin for Android TV integrated into the TV, others use Chromecast with Android TV.
so there is no way to disable this thing on the server side?
    Thank you

On the server side no. For some reason my Chromecast w/Google TV doesn't do this buy my parent's built-in Google TV pings my server regularly. On the Android TV you can set it to "App only" mode (Settings > Account > Your account, IIRC) and that might stop this behavior.

Sorry if I return to this topic but I discovered that on all TVs with the Jellyfin APP installed with Android TV this problem occurs due to the fact that even if the user is not using the Jellyfin Player the Android TV system searches for more updated content on the Jellyfin server! ...
I was wondering if it would be possible in future versions to insert a server-side option that recognizes only when the user is using the player to watch content, excluding recording all other accesses/pings to the server not due to actual user activity.
In other words the server should only detect when the user presses the Play or Stop button on his player and nothing else.
Can this be done as an option to set in the control panel?
    Thank you

In the current version, I am not aware of any way to change how Jellyfin displays user activity.
