I've noticed that when watching live TV on my Mac using JMP the stream is being transcoded. I'm 99% certain it never used to be.
But looking in the log there is no reason logged for the transcoding. Does that no longer get logged? Or do I need to do something to enable the logging of the reason for transcoding?
This is server version 10.10.7 running on Fedora. TV is coming from a tvheadend server. Any help appreciated...

I spun up a Fedora VM and installed Jellyfin server 10.9.4 on it and pointed this at the same tvheadend instance, and with this version of the server there is no transcoding of Live TV.

So something changed at some point between 10.9.4 and 10.10.7 to make this problem happen, if that helps at all? (NB Edited the thread title to reflect this finding)

    Thanks Smiling-face

Solved - somehow the server was using the tvheadend plugin which I thought I had disabled in favour of using the tvheadend server's m3u playlist. The plugin seems to cause this issue. Removing it from the server fixed this.
