I'm running 10.8.13 on a Windows desktop that is my primary office computer, the computer is typically on 24/7 and I use it to host game servers for friends plus other things like Jellyfin. If my computer has been up for a few days Jellyfin stops working only on my local network until I restart the computer. I can still do everything just fine on the computer itself (both through loopback and the local 192.168.0.73 IP) AND it still works totally fine if I connect through tailscale, but anything else on my local network can't access Jellyfin.
For example right now I am having the problem. My three TVs (all Roku's using the Roku app) can't connect to Jellyfin. When I launch Jellyfin, I get the server connect screen, and my computer is listed there (192.168.0.73), and when I click on it I get the "Server not found, is it online?" error. If I try and connect to Jellyfin on my phone, I get the same error (so it's not just a Roku thing). But if I connect my phone to my tailscale, and then connect to the server, Jellyfin works fine. Also, on my computer itself, I can connect to Jellyfin through loopback or through 192.168.0.73. I can see on my router that the computer is up, and still has the same IP address, and the computer still has full network access, but nothing else is able to connect to Jellyfin. Every other service on the computer seems to be working fine, friends can connect to my game servers through my external IP address, I can browse internet, do everything, everything seems fine. If I go into the taskbar and "Stop" Jellyfin and then "Start" it again, everything starts working fine, I can connect on my Rokus and my phone without tailscale.
I'm not sure if I should be chasing down some kind of networking/router issue, or if this is a Jellyfin issue, or what to look at to fix this, as it's annoying when I'm in bed and try to start watching a show and I have to go over to my office and restart Jellyfin for it to work.
I've attached today's log. I added a new show to the server around 16:50, I tried logging in from one of my Roku TVs at 16:52 but typed the password wrong, then got it right at 16:53. I watched House for a while, and stopped at 19:00, then around 21:30 or so I wanted to watch another episode and got the error on my TV, had to come back over to the computer and stop/start Jellyfin and was able to log in at 21:46.
