SOLVED: NextPVR plugin showing unsupported

Howdy folks,

I have the latest version of NextPVR running on Windows. I use a Hauppauge 4 tuner card with the app. Trying to set the plugin for same up in Jellyfin but it is showing a status of unsupported. I've tried version 8, 7 and 4 of the plugin with tray restarts on the server each iteration.

Looking at some posts it's not clear if the plugin works with the latest version of NextPVR. Can anyone confirm? Also, I'm not sure where to configure the plugin. I'm supposing that once it declares as supported there'd be some options?

I have been using NextPVR for a very long time but trying to find the best client for it. Kodi is decent but hiccups when trying to timeshift. I made the mistake of purchasing a lifetime pass for Plex years ago, try it every year or two and give up in frustration at its shortcomings as a DVR. Hoping that Jellyfin would be that magic bullet for AndroidTV, Roku, PC client need.

NextPVR doesn't currently work with 10.9 but there's a pull request waiting to be approved

I am also eager to see this resolved as I use nextpvr and it's awesome having it built into Jellyfin.

It looks like the pull request is approved but I'm not very familiar with GitHub / software development.

Does this mean the changes will now get rolled into a new Jellyfin version?

@unicron_au the updated plugin v9 has been released and should be upgraded in your install.
Mind plugins have their own released schedule.
