New Jellyfin user hoping someone might have an idea what's going on here. Started using Jellyfin back in January after getting an LG C3 and everything was working great not a single issue until recently when certain videos seem to freeze.

I believe it's a transcoding issue with this error in the logs below being the culprit. I haven't changed or messed with any settings so I'm not sure why this show that used to stream no problem now gets permission denied errors. Issue happens with all H.264 files now it seems but other media types on the same drive playback just fine. The only change I've made since setting up Jellyfin is swapping my 1070 for a 4070 but I wouldn't expect that to cause this error. I'm at a loss at this point, even tried reinstalling Jellyfin and starting over but problem persists so any help would be greatly appreciated!

It is a file permission issue. Jellyfin/ffmpeg doesn't have permission to read the file.

I'll double check it but I'm positive my account is set to full control for that drive (windows 11). Just my account on this pc too so there's not really any other accts to give permissions to.

Try 10.9.2 to see if it helps

Double checked permissions, tried 10.9.2 same issue but I found the problem in the end. Looks like that drive is dying, Jellyfin logs show permission denied but windows event viewer shows it's due to a bad block on the drive. Copied test file to working nvme drive and it worked just fine. Thanks everyone for the help.
