Hello,
I have just created my Jellyfin library of videos. It is based solely on the information in the NFO files attached to the videos. Sometimes the year of production is indicated, but sometimes not, which doesn't pose a problem for me. I have noticed that on some videos in Jellyfin, when no year is specified, completely wrong years appear (for example 20260728 or 20210311). I did some research on the metadata of these videos using the Linux MediaInfo tool, and noticed that a “Recorded date” field was filled in with the same values (e.g. 20260728 or 20210311). So I think Jellyfin is relying on this field when the year is not filled in, but is misinterpreting it.
Jellyfin: 10.8.13 running as a Docker container
PS : By mistake, I've already posted this message but in the wrong section. I reported the problem to the moderator myself. (https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-problem-int...eo-library)
