I use Jellyfin on a Synology DS224+ NAS and I have my movies sorted in to genre-specific folders - Action, Comedy, Sci-Fi & Fantasy e.t.c..
I also have a separate folder called "Watch Now" for random things I collect that are new releases or things I want to watch without adding them to my collection.
I recently came across a fan-made 4K upscale of the 1982 classic "Tron" so I placed it in the "Watch Now" folder to check it out and watch it before seeing if i wanted to move it in to my full collection.
Stopped it about half an hour in to go and do something else and when I came back, I noticed that Jellyfin was displaying both versions in "Continue Watching" even though I was only watching the version in the "Watch Now" folder.
Clicking on both versions confirms that both versions of the movie are being displayed - 1080p and 4K - but only the 4K one has the partially watched indicator as that's the one I was watching.
