Whenever I play an episode (MP4 with external SRT subtitles), the subtitles don’t show up. I’ve tried enabling them directly during playback in Jellyfin, and also through the Roku * menu by setting “Captioning always on.” Neither option works. On top of that, whenever I exit and reenter the episode, the “always on” setting is disabled again.
I’ve tested this multiple times and the behavior is consistent. Subtitles work fine for me on other platforms, so it seems specific to the Jellyfin app. I’m not sure if this is a Roku bug, or a bug in the Jellyfin Roku app.
Btw, on all other Jellyfin apps both on my phone (android), and on my Firestick, the subtitles work fine.
