I am trying to connect through an Apple TV4k via swiftfin.  Swiftfin sees the local server on the correct IP and port (8096) but selecting the local server does nothing.  Manually typing the IP and port also does nothing.

I have verified that I can access jellyfin on my laptop, phone, and a separate Roku TV through its jellyfin app (over wifi).

The Apple TV and jellyfin server are on the same subnet connected through a common switch.

Could this be an issue with swiftfin expecting or requiring an https connection?

I tried switching to wifi since I saw a similar post on this forum that said it could be a NIC issue. Still unable to connect.

I can access jellyfin through the infuse app, but I'd rather use jellyfin

There's not a lot of useful information that I can see. Primarily trickplay and media processing. This is from right now.

I tried connecting over AppleTV several times to see if that logged anything. doesn't look like it.

    This is coming from Jellyfin/config/log

i don't have a way of getting xcode debug info to verify but this could be relevant?

Does tvOS have something similar to Android TV where you can delete an app's cache?

I tried a few suggestions like long-pressing on the icon. It brings up a secondary menu where you can delete the app and its data. I tried that, restarted the device, then downloaded swiftfin again. Still the same problem.

I decided to check the log files again and this time I see a bunch of AuthenticationScheme: "CustomAuthentication" was challenged". Could this have something to do with the tvOS connection?
