    Hi all,

I can't find anyone else discussing this so I hope I can post here.

I'm using an Nvidia Shield running the latest version of Jellyfin. I want to keep my Doctor Who collection as it's own library, but marked as a Photos library rather than TV, as I found the way Jellyfin wants me to organise each show/spin off/bts doesn't quite fit with how I want it organised, but that's okay as everything works just fine this way.

My problem is, each folder and video has embedded images that are picked up as they should, but when you first click into them on the android TV client they appear zoomed in. If you back out and re-enter the folder, they appear as they should.

How do I fix this? I've tried to resize the images before embedding (to 1066x600), but it still zooms in the same way. Literally everything else works perfectly, so the fact this doesn't makes it stand out more!

    Thanks!

    possibly this? https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-and...ssues/3092

it's not clear if your thumb and poster are different images or if a poster is involved at all

Posters actually work perfectly. One up from this is a "season view" folder with a poster image (set to poster view in settings) and these always display correctly. It's when you click into the episodes (as the images show), which is set to thumbnail view, is when it zooms in.

The thumbnail image comes from an embedded 1080p image direct from the .mkv.

Also, once it displays correctly it seems to stay corrected until I close and open the app again, where it will again zoom in on first opening of the folder.

True. Same thing happening on my Nvidia Shield lately.
Only happens with the TV shows' embedded images and miscellaneous home videos I have. This behavior was not happening before.

sounds like a bug, i would encourage you to submit an issue at the address above (after ensuring there is not already one)

might be a simple oversight since a Photos library is uncommon, the developer(s) just may not use it in their setup

This might be related to this issue: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-and...ssues/3251

I haven't been able to reproduce it yet but am starting to get a vague idea what could cause it.

edit: was able to reproduce and will be fixed in 0.16.3.
