    1. I used the Sonarr & Radarr Extension to download TV Show & Movies trailers from Youtube. These trailers are then stored in the media folders and can then be played as trailers in Jellyfin. Is it possible to exclude these trailers from Trickplay as they are normally 2/3 min each ? I think its just a waist of space to generate 18 trickplay images for very movie/tv show trailer.
    2. In Jellyscrub, I could enable trickplay, but generate only on request and when new media was added to my library, therefore I did not have to generate my entire library upfront, and by just doing that all my new media would have trickplay and any old media that is being viewed would generate that 1 trickplay episode/movie. Can I still do this or is it all or nothing?

I don't recall there being any exclusion settings for trickplay, but I don't have any trailers to test if it even makes them for trailers or not. And the code for trickplays does not explicitly state whether it skips trailers.

If you do not want trickplays for existing content, you'd have to disable the scheduled task for trickplays. To enable trickplays for new content you'd have to enable them in the library settings.

    Hi friends,

I'm also trying to use Trickplay with Jellyfin 10.9.x. (now I'm on 10.9.4).

A few days ago I upgraded Jellyfin to version 10.9 and I enabled Trickplay and manually ran the Generate Trickplay Images task, but I'm not seeing any images when I drag the player location with the mouse or when I fast forwarding on my TV.

I'm running Jellyfin as a docker app on Unraid and I didn't use Jellyscrub before.

Can anyone please help me find the reason why Trickplay doesn't work for me?

    Did the trickplay job finish?

Are you using a reverse proxy?

    Yes, the trickplay job finished.

And yes, I’m using a reverse proxy.

Which reverse proxy? Do you have any CSPs? Same-origin CORP?

    I'm using NginxProxyManager.

And when connecting to the Jellyfin server from remote IP's my domain also passes through Cloudflare.

I don't think I'm using any CSP's or Same-origin CORP, but I'm not exactly sure what they are Upside-down-face

Can you provide screenshots of Nginx Proxy Manager for Jellyfin (censor the domain name)? Did you follow our documentation for Nginx Proxy Manager?

    https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/networ...xy-manager

I wrote the latest iteration of that doc, btw. I should probably re-validate it on 10.9.X.

What browser are you using and do you have any script blockers installed?
