hello, i configured previously one server in my windows 11 notebook. i was in one network at my parents house when i configured this server, i leave my parents house and now have another network/router in my house.

since i moved i could only connect to my server in the notebook (which is also the jellyfin server hoster), when i tried connecting at the server with my cellphone or tablet it didn't let connect (even tho i changed the IPV4 manually etc..., note; my cellphone and notebook where in the same internet network), so i decided to uninstall jellyfin to reinstall and configure from scratch again in my notebook, this time in the new wifi.

    problem is.

when i uninstalled and deleted the appdata folders and the jellyfin program files folder (base installation folder), when i tried installing again it didn't start from the start configuration page of jellyfin (the one where i select language, country, files folder...)

it started from the "select server" folder and when i typed my user and login when connecting the localhost:8096 server it leads me to my old account with old multimidia, when i click the movies etc it only disappears like it is not there anymore (even tho i still have the archives)...

TLDR ; anyway. i want to FULLY uninstall the jellyfin and "trash archives" so i can trully configure again from bottom scratch in windows 11.

if someone could help me with this i would be really thankful!  Grinning-face

by the way, i uninstalled and installed the android app of jellyfin and before that i cleared the cache and data from the app before trying connecting, it still didn't let me connect via "ipv4:8096"

Those servers are probably just cached in your browser. Click on them and choose the option to delete or remove the server.

Yes but when i delete the server in the jellyfin interface the serverlist just becomes empty and it do not let me click in anything to try create another server, i want the interface to start from the first configuration

After deleting the server, simply remove everything after the port number and press Enter.

    For example, instead of:
    localhost:8096/#/selectserver.html

    Use:
    localhost:8096

To whoever falls into this post, the solution is:

1 - delete firewall inbound rules of jellyfin.server (these ones are from old networks and old installations)
2 - uninstall jellyfin and delete program files jellyfin folder and appdata local jellyfin folder (if u want to configure it again)
3 - clear the cache from your browser
4 - let the ipv4 unfixed for the first connection
    5 - install again

These steps will probably solve your problem
