SOLVED: LG webos app crash

While resuming a 120gb movie on an LG TV the jellyfin app crashes, Webos closes the app automatically due to using too much memory. Logs below from the time of the crash, DLNA is not in use.
This happens only on the lg tv, ran the same test on a samsung tv and it resumes fine.

In the WebOS app, go to Settings > Playback (not the one in Dashboard) and uncheck "prefer fmp4".

Thank you this fixed the crash, the movie is now being transcoded with HEVC instead of AV1, I assume AV1 transcoding was the issue.
My server is running on an intel 14600T cpu and an intel arc 750 gpu.

The issue was the device probably couldn't play AV1 but was mis-reporting its capabilities or something like that. IDK.

Disabling fmp4 on the client would result in Jellyfin using the TS container, which does not support AV1.

It is an LG C2 which I use as a desktop monitor, and it does support AV1 according to its specs https://www.lg.com/au/tvs/lg-oled42c2psa

Ah. Ok. Regardless, there are known fMP4 issues with WebOS anyway. I can't find the github issue regarding it, at the moment.
