    Hello guys!

I'm having an issue, i'll respect the format so here we go!

The version of Jellyfin you are running: 10.8.13

Your installation method and platform: Windows Installer (Recommended)

A brief description of the issue as your thread subject, using the description for additional important context only if required:
The webclient is in an infinite loop, the logs are saying: TranscodeReasons=VideoCodecNotSupported,%20AudioCodecNotSupported"

A full explanation of what is happening, versus what you expect to happen:
I'm trying to play a movie: Avatar - The Way Of Water

    The movie is in 4k HDR10 DDP5.1 x265
    My setup is: Ryzen 7 3800x + RTX 3060ti

The issue is: The movie is loading infinitely on the Webclient (Browser: Firefox, Windows11) but play on IOS and iPadOS, i would like to make it play on my browsers.
What would i expect to happen: Fix the Transcode issue first and play if possible the movie after.

What client(s) you are using and how the issue manifests:
I successfully played the movie from: IOS and iPadOS
I couldn't play the movie on two computer running both Windows 11, tried firefox and chrome.

    The computers specs:
    Ryzen 7 3800x + RTX 3060ti
    Ryzen 5 5600 + GTX 1650

Any other context you might think is relevant:
I did play with the transcode settings and the documentation but nothing played in my favor unfortunately.

    Below i'll join the logs:

    Have a great day/ night Grinning-cat

    Best Regards,
    Akou

The log you attached is a remux log and not a transcode log. Did you follow our Nvidia hardware acceleration guide? Also, it looks like you disable audio transcoding?

    Thanks for the reply!

So i now uploaded a transcode log, that was my bad, i uploaded everything my log folder had, playing the movie did not give me any log, needed to start another one.

I did check the guide, but a bit lost to be honest, i think i "did" most of it ?

For the audio transcoding, on my side i don't think i disabled anything, at least that i know of

Are you using a reverse proxy?

As for audio transcoding. Go to Dashboard > Users > click on a user. On the main page, is the box for allowing playback with audio transcoding enabled?

No reverse proxy, tailscale to connect to home network and that's all

For some reason the box was unchecked, i checked it and now the movie is playing. For sure a between the chair and keyboard error... haha

So i guess it's now fixed! I'll mark my user error here as solved!

    Thanks for your time !
