    I recently became a Jellyfin member and have been ripping my DVD collection daily over the last week. As a previous store manager of Blockbuster Video, I have a pretty extensive collection. I have not had any issues with any DVDs besides the occasional changes needed for the metadata to ensure that everything matches up as it should. One of my favorite shows, Vikings, was going to be my first DVD series to work on and it has been a nightmare. I have read and reread the Jellyfin instructions on setting up and ensuring that all files are correctly named with the season/episode number. I also entered the correct IMDb number in the metadata for each episode. After I had ripped all of season one, I started on season two and noticed that all of the episodes were still together in the TV Shows Library instead of being within a single folder within the library. To clarify my expectations, if I click on the TV Shows Library, I expect to see the cover art for Vikings Season One and Vikings Season Two. Then, I can click on whichever season I am interested in viewing and then continue by choosing the exact episode I want within the Season folder.
    Movies Library is perfectly fine. Episodes are saved willy-nilly in the TV Shows Library. I have tried including the [tvdbid-xxxxx] with the season folder, but that does not help. My current path:
    Media->TV Shows->Vikings->Season 01 [tvdbid-498968]->Vikings - S01E01 - Rites of Passage.mkv
    I must use IMDb tt2306299 (example for S01E01) in the metadata to find the correct episode image. Otherwise, I get some of the weirdest images from other movies.
    Any suggestions or recommendations? Because this is driving me up the wall. Lol! Thanks.

    I have tried this format, and it does not work for me. As I mentioned, I read the requirements for structuring and naming the folders and then checked and double-checked that my folders are set up and named exactly how Jellyfin needs them to be for everything to work correctly.
    I'm not sure if it matters but I am running my Jellyfin through my Synology NAS.
    Thanks.  Upside-down-face

    I was finally able to fix my issue by temporarily removing the Vikings folder from my media library. I made sure that everything was cleared from Jellyfin before proceeding. I had already done this step previously, so I wasn't exactly holding my breath. I also created a tvshow.nfo file that is inside the "Vikings" folder. I think the .nfo file is what did the trick for me.
