Hello, I have two Chromecast HDs running Android TV 12 build STTK.230808.004 that from what I can tell are configured identically for Jellyfin. I have some content that will play on one of the Chromecasts but I get the "to many errors, giving up" on the other. I am using Jellyfin 10.8.13 running on a linux machine. I know not every codec / container / etc works with Android TV but I'm very curious why it works on one but not the other. I've attached my log and FFmpeg files. I started playing the file in question on the working Chromecast then switching to the other so I'd image both instances would be included in the log file. Let me know if there is any further information I need to provide. Thank you!

Update on this, seems if I turn off "Bitstream Dolby Digital Audio" then the content will play. My assumption here is that the TV this chromecast is plugged into doesn't support it but that's just a guess. I'm unfortunately not very familiar with this stuff so if someone could confirm or clarify why that might have worked I'd appreciate it!

Every TV is different. One of my TVs is connected to a pretty capable sound bar and will bit stream dolby True HD and DTS MA. I can check both of those bit stream boxes. Another TV without a sound bar I have to uncheck those boxes. Both TVs have a CCwGTV 4K.

So what you are describing definitely makes sense. HDMI is not one way and a lot of TVs will communicate to the sending device that it can't decode the video/audio it is sending.

    Welcome to the Jellyfin forum.
Thanks for the logs, i dont spot the reason for the playback not to work, so i need you to do a test.

Try and switch the Chromecasts, test if this has any affect on the playback on both Chromecasts?
